This place is very important “Darshaneeya Kshetra”. The Padukas of Sri Nrisimha Saraswathi Swamy which are worshipped in this temple is brownish-Red in color. It is not known if they are made of stone or wood. When touched they feel soft, like the limbs of a human body. They were left here by Sri Nrisimha Himself before He left for Kardali Van near Srisailam. Kardali Van was the place Sri Nrisimha left His earthly body and merged with the Parabrahm.
